Student activity instructions:
- First read through the slides on "Emergency Preparedness". This will describe the importance of planning, and suggest some issues to consider when making preparations.
- Then look through at least one of the two examples of emergency plans: "Emergency plan for appraisal" or "Example of an emergency plan". Neither is perfect. Can you identify what was good about the plan or not so good?
- Then share your thoughts with the group on the discussion forum as to what makes a good (or bad) emergency plan.
