In this activity, you will analyze the impact of prevention policies and regulations related to reducing substance use disorders in your local community.
Step 1: Research and review the policy and environmental strategies introduced during the lesson.
Step 2: Prepare a 300 – 750 word letter to the editor of your local newspaper analyzing the impact of policies and regulations enacted to reduce the prevalence of substance use abuse and disorders in your community. In your letter, you are encouraged to offer strategies to assist with the implementation of these policies and the expected results of the adoption of said policies.
