Find the Assessment Policy of your institution/university.  If you are not currently employed by a higher education institution, you can do an internet search and find any other universities’ Assessment Policy.  Alternatively, download the FPD Assessment of Learning Policy

Critique the Assessment Policy as follows:

• Is it credible, transparent, reflect academic integrity?  If so, in what way?
• Does is promote equity and fairness to all students to foster equality and social justice? If so, in what way?
• Does it make provision for online assessments?  If so, in what why?
• Does it provide for the moderation of assessment?
• After completing Study Unit 1 Assessment Theory and Practice in Higher Education, how can you advise the Academic Head of your institution to improve on the Assessment Policy?
