X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy

Analysis of the energy absorbed across a spectrum of x-ray energies/wavelengths to determine the chemical structure and electronic states of the absorbing medium.,Analysis of the oscillations observed in an x-ray absorption spectrum that begin just above the absorption edge (i.e. the point on the spectrum where the amount of x-ray absorption suddenly increases) to determine or evaluate the chemical structure of the absorbing surface.

Xenograft Model Antitumor Assays

In vivo methods of screening investigative anticancer drugs, biologic response modifiers or radiotherapies. Human tumor tissue or cells are transplanted into mice or rats followed by tumor treatment regimens. A variety of outcomes are monitored to assess antitumor effectiveness.
