This activity will illustrate how ICT user experience and digital health literacy can be enhanced to help address a public health challenge by creating a tool.

Step 1 Review

Review all the provided resources for Module 3 Lesson 2, then study the list of priority public health challenges and concerns according to CDC’s prevention status reports. A piece of more detailed information is provided by CDC’s website: https://www.cdc.gov/psr/overview.html. 

Step 2. Illustrate

Choose one (1) public health challenge/concern from the list. Then, create a tool that illustrates how ICT- user experience can be enhanced to cater to people with different levels of digital health literacy and address the selected public health challenge. Remember that the language used must be suitable for laypeople as the tool will serve as a digital health “prototype” for the selected public health concern.  Your tool should have a maximum of 10 slides for a presentation, 500 words in a blog format, or 3-5 minutes in length for a video format. Before you submit, engage in an introspective self-analysis by systematically reviewing each component of your work. Reflect on what aspects of your work were executed well and what could be enhanced. Proceed to refine these elements in your work.
