      Step 1 Review

Review all the provided resources for Module 3 Lesson 2, then study the list of priority public health challenges and concerns according to CDC’s prevention status reports. A piece of more detailed information is provided by CDC’s website: https://www.cdc.gov/psr/overview.html

      753

      Step 2. Illustrate

Choose one (1) public health challenge/concern from the list. Then, create a tool that illustrates how ICT- user experience can be enhanced to cater to people with different levels of digital health literacy and address the selected public health challenge. Remember that the language used must be suitable for laypeople as the tool will serve as a digital health “prototype” for the selected public health concern.  Your tool should have a maximum of 10 slides for a presentation, 500 words in a blog format, or 3-5 minutes in length for a video format. The following inclusions should be evident in your work:

      • Strategies,  techniques, methods  for enhancing ICT to cater to different levels of digital health literacy in the selected public health challenge
      • A simple prototype that demonstrates how an ICT or Digital health technology can address the public health challenge.

      Step 3: Self-Analysis and Enhancement

Before you submit, engage in an introspective self-analysis by systematically reviewing each component of your work. Reflect on what aspects of your work were executed well and what could be enhanced. Proceed to refine these elements in your work.

      Step 4: Submit

To submit your work, click on the “Reply” button under this post and paste either the picture of your work or the shareable link of your work (if it is a google document) in the “Message” box. Make sure to reference others’ intellectual property when necessary. All references should follow 7th Edition APA formatting. For further instructions, see the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library resource: APA citation resource (N.B. references are excluded from word counts).
