Instructions
Explore and create.
You need to submit the following:
- A Word document in which you describe
- The names of 3 podcast tools (such as Vocaroo or SoundCloud) that you explored before making the decision to use the one you recorded your example in.
- Three reasons why you chose to use that particular tool as opposed to the others that you considered.
- A worksheet that can be used in class:
- Title of the activity
- Name, date and class details (space where the learner can add their details)
- The learning outcome of the activity
- The instructions to the students
- Anything else you deem necessary
- An example of a completed podcast (no longer than 60 seconds). Once again, considering the theme/topic that you chose to work with, identify something to record. Consider using a jingle as part of your podcast. Remember, though, that you can only use openly licensed music for this purpose. Be creative! Consider doing something out of the box (for instance ask your students to pretend that they are working for a radio station and that they are interviewing someone who is an expert on the topic that you are teaching, or use an app such as AutoRap to ‘rap’ some important facts relating to your topic).
- A rubric that can be used to mark the students’ word search.
Take note: You can upload multiple documents in the submission. Be sure that all your documents are upload before submitting.
